Michael Allen Gallo is a photographer, actor, director, and fashion freelancer living in Brooklyn.
Originally from Connecticut, Michael started his performing arts career in Washington D.C.; training in music, acting, and dance at the Catholic University of America. Since moving to New York, he has performed with dance companies, independent theatre collectives, a national tour, and expanded work into film and photography. Interest in front of the camera led to interest behind the camera. As a photographer his passion is in working collaboratively on projects that blend the lines between disciplines.
In 2011, under the guidance of fashion producer Kevin Krier, Michael began a career in fashion. Since then he has taken on positions including associate producer and collection manager. Michael has worked with such brands and designers as Marchesa, Diane Von Furstenburg, Express, Esmara x Heidi Klum, Diesel Black Gold, and Oscar de la Renta; and as the associate producer of the 2017 American Heart Association's Red Dress Collection.
